Internal Controls Testing Specialist (ZICTT Specialist) - (6-month contract)
Location: Krakow
About the role:
In this role, you will leverage the team's Agentic AI solution to support internal controls testing activities and contribute to the continuous enhancement of this innovative tool. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations, supporting a robust and efficient controls framework while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Perform internal controls testing activities for assigned Reporting Units (RUs), using the ZICTT Agentic AI solution as the primary testing workspace
- Support Senior Specialists and Testing Partners in analyzing financial reporting risks, completeness, and appropriateness of controls
- Test sensitive controls involving highly confidential evidence and information
- Collaborate with Internal Controls Managers and Control Owners, providing timely support and addressing questions and concerns
- Complete deliverables in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with agreed deadlines and quality standards
- Ensure all testing documentation and deliverables meet Zurich methodology requirements and undergo appropriate reviews
- Support testing-related projects and transformation initiatives within the Zurich Internal Controls Testing Team (ZICTT)
- Contribute to the continuous development and enhancement of the ZICTT Agentic AI solution
- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and expand the use of AI within the testing environment
- Ensure compliance with Zurich ICIF methodology, policies, and guidelines
- Work effectively with geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders across multiple business units
- Demonstrate a proactive, customer-oriented approach and contribute positively to team collaboration
Candidate’s profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 1 year of postgraduate experience in Internal Controls, Compliance, Audit, Risk Management, or a related area
- English C1
- Spanish, Italian and/or German B2 is nice to have
- Knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes, Information Security, IT Audit/IT Governance, Risk & Compliance is an advantage
- Previous experience in internal controls, audit, or SOX-related environments is desirable
- Understanding of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks
- Experience working within global organizations, shared service environments, or multi-location teams is an asset
- Experience working with AI tools or digital solutions is an advantage
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA (or willingness to pursue) are considered an asset
- Security certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CSX, CISSP, CRISC, CISA or CISM (or willingness to pursue) are considered an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.
This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
